Amata Power (Bien Hoa) Limited (APBH), founded
in 1996, received a license from the Ministry of Planning
and Investment of Vietnam to develop and operate a 120 MW
power plant to supply electricity and steam to industrial
users in the Amata City Bien Hoa Industrial Estate. The project
is divided into two phases. Phase 1 consists of 2 units of
diesel generators, each with an output capacity of 6.4 MW,
and Phase 2 is the construction of a 100 MW combined cycle
power plant. There are currently two units of diesel generators
installed, producing a total output capacity of 12.8 MW.
In addition to the sale of electricity to
industrial users in the Amata City Industrial Estate, APBH
has signed a Power Purchase Agreement with Electricity of
Vietnam (EVN) to supply all the remaining electricity to the
national grid
